Application: The standard pulping machine is suitable for pulp separation of crushed tomatoes, kiwifruit, strawberries, apples, pears, and fruits such as hawthorn and dates after pre-cooking and softening treatment. The pitting pulping machine not only meets the application range of general pulping machines but is also suitable for pitting and pulp separation of various stone fruits.

Product Specifications: 0.5-5T/H, customized according to production capacity requirements.

Working Principle: The motor drives the rotor assembly installed on the spline shaft through belt transmission, allowing it to rotate at high speed. Fruits enter the machine through the feeding inlet, and the feeding blades transport the materials spirally to the pulping bars. Under the action of the pulping bars, the materials are crushed and pulped. Due to centrifugal force, the juice and pulp (already in slurry form) pass through the screen holes into the next pulping stage. The screen mesh size is selected according to the size of fruit pits. The pits are discharged through the slag discharge blades to the outlet, achieving automatic separation of pulp and residue.

Technical Features:

1. Simple structure, easy maintenance, and wide application range;

2. The machine is available in single-stage and double-stage models. When processing stone fruits such as mangoes, the single-stage pitting pulping machine can be selected;

3. The second-stage pulping process automatically separates fruit pits, peels, and residues;

4. It can be integrated into a complete production line or operated as an independent machine;

5. All parts in contact with materials are made of high-quality stainless steel, meeting food hygiene requirements.

Packaging: Wooden pallet or wooden case packaging.

Control: Button control or PLC integrated control system is available.

Kunshan Qianwei Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in fruit and vegetable pretreatment equipment including crushing machines, pulping machines, peeling machines, and juice extraction equipment.

We provide 1-30 tons per hour pretreatment equipment, including crushers, pulping machines, peeling machines, destoning machines, and juice extractors.

Anyone involved in mango processing understands one thing: the pretreatment stage of mangoes is more complicated than it seems. Mangoes have soft flesh, high juice content, abundant fiber, and a large pit in the center. Manual pitting is not only inefficient but also causes unnecessary fruit loss. It also affects consistency when producing mango juice, puree, or jam. The mango destoning machine is specially designed to solve the problem of "pit separation and flesh preservation" during mango processing.

Its goal is clear: separate the pit cleanly while minimizing flesh loss as much as possible.

What Is a Mango Destoning Machine Used For

Simply put, a mango destoning machine is equipment that uses mechanical structures to perform precise cutting, squeezing, or separation processes to quickly separate mango pits from the pulp.

Common applications include:

Mango juice processing
Mango puree production
Mango jam processing
Frozen mango raw material processing
Fruit beverage pretreatment
Central kitchen fruit preparation

The core function is to improve pitting efficiency while maintaining pulp integrity.

What Makes Mango Pitting Difficult

Many people think pitting is simply "cutting once", but the actual process is much more complicated.

The main challenges include:

• Irregular pit shapes
• Large amount of fiber surrounding the pit
• Soft pulp that is easy to damage
• Large differences in mango maturity
• Difficulty controlling pulp loss

These problems are difficult to control consistently when using manual processing.

Working Principle of Mango Destoning Machine

Different manufacturers may have slightly different designs, but the basic principle remains the same: separating the mango pit through positioning, cutting, and separation.

The general working process is:

Mango enters the feeding port → Positioning device fixes the fruit → Cutting blades or pressing structure separate the pulp → Pit and pulp are separated → Pit is discharged → Pulp enters the next processing stage

The core feature is "precise positioning + mechanical separation".

Main Structure of Mango Destoning Machine

A standard mango destoning machine usually includes:

• Feeding system: Controls mango feeding speed
• Positioning device: Fixes mango position accurately
• Cutting system: Performs pulp cutting
• Separation mechanism: Separates pit and pulp
• Conveying system: Transfers materials
• Pit discharge outlet: Removes separated pits
• Pulp collection system: Collects processable pulp
• Control system: Adjusts operation parameters

The overall design focuses on "reducing waste and improving efficiency".

Why Use Mechanical Mango Pitting Equipment

In actual production, mechanical pitting has several advantages compared with manual processing:

• Faster processing speed
• More stable efficiency
• Lower pulp loss
• Better product consistency
• Reduced labor costs
• Suitable for large-scale production

Especially for factories producing beverages and fruit puree, stable production capacity is very important.

Key Factors for Equipment Selection

Choosing the right equipment directly affects production costs and final product quality.

Important factors include:

Mango Size Compatibility
Whether the machine can handle different fruit sizes and maturity levels.

Pulp Loss Control Capability
This is one of the key performance indicators.

Pit Removal Accuracy
Whether there are remaining pits or pit fragments.

Production Capacity Matching
Whether it matches the production line speed.

Cleaning and Maintenance Convenience
Affects food safety and operating costs.

Common Problems During Operation

During actual operation, some common situations may occur:

• Pulp containing pit residues
• Excessive pulp damage
• Material blockage
• Incomplete pit removal
• Unstable output
• Difficult cleaning

These problems are often related to mango maturity and equipment adjustment.

Key Factors Affecting Pitting Performance

The performance of a mango destoning machine is not determined by one factor alone but by multiple conditions working together.

Main factors include:

• Mango maturity
• Pit size differences
• Feeding uniformity
• Cutting force
• Positioning accuracy
• Equipment speed matching

Any unstable process may affect the final processing result.

Industries Suitable for Mango Destoning Machines

Applications are mainly concentrated in:

• Fruit juice processing companies
• Mango puree production factories
• Jam and fruit paste manufacturers
• Frozen fruit processing plants
• Central kitchen food processing
• Fruit deep-processing export enterprises

It is especially suitable for large-volume fruit processing applications.

Importance of the Commissioning Stage

Many machines may not perform ideally when first installed, but proper adjustment can improve stability.

Common parameters requiring adjustment include:

• Feeding speed
• Cutting force
• Positioning accuracy
• Conveying rhythm
• Pit discharge timing

If these parameters are not properly matched, the equipment performance cannot be fully utilized.

Daily Maintenance Requirements

As food processing equipment, the maintenance of mango destoning machines directly affects efficiency and hygiene.

Important maintenance points include:

• Checking blade wear
• Checking positioning mechanism accuracy
• Ensuring smooth conveying operation
• Checking seal aging
• Thorough cleaning
• Checking sensor system operation

Insufficient maintenance can affect equipment stability and food safety.

Industry Development Trends

Currently, mango destoning equipment is developing toward several directions:

• Higher automation levels
• Lower pulp loss
• More accurate positioning systems
• Easier cleaning structures
• More stable continuous operation

The overall trend is upgrading from semi-automatic processing to fully continuous processing.

Practical Suggestions for Equipment Selection

When purchasing a mango destoning machine, consider:

• Whether mango sizes are varied
• Whether high production capacity is required
• Whether pulp loss needs strict control
• Whether it connects with pulping or juicing equipment
• Whether cleaning conditions are available

Thinking about these factors in advance can reduce many problems later.

Although the mango destoning machine is only a pretreatment device, it plays an important role throughout the mango processing chain.

It affects not only pitting efficiency but also pulp utilization, product consistency, and the smooth operation of subsequent processing.

When selecting equipment, the focus should not only be on machine complexity, but also on pitting accuracy, pulp protection capability, and whether it truly matches your mango raw material characteristics.

When these details are properly handled, the stability of the entire production line and final product quality will be significantly improved.
